Item #843 - Indian Praying Picture
Description: This print appears to be from the early part of the twentieth century circa 1920s - 30s. The colors of the print are bold and strong in keeping with prints of that era. There is no signature by the artist and no publisher's copyright seen on the print. The only damage visible is a very small portion of the upper right hand corner is missing, approximately 3/16 of an inch. The subject matter may very well be an artist's rendition of a bronze sculpture at the Boston Museum of Art entitled " Appeal to the Spirit" by George Dallin. The frame is wood and painted to simulate crossbanded Mahogany. The frame shows wear consistent with age. Outside dimensions of the frame are 15 3/4 inches tall by 11 3/4 inches wide. The overall condition of this print is excellent having been restored to the best possible condition without any alterations, cleaned, new dust cover on the rear and a new saw tooth hanger.

Price: $77.20 SOLD
