Item #1614 - Daniel Webster Daguerreotype

Description: This is an antique daguerreotype we believe to be Daniel Webster. Pencil markings state as such and the picture looks very much like him. The dag is dated inside the case, but the last digit is in question. We can read 185_. The last digit is either a 1, 2 or 6. Mr. Webster died Oct. 24, 1852 so there is further mystery. This dag looks completely untouched with the original seals and case, with spine in good condition.
