Item #1175 - 1902 Civil War Windup Alarm Clock

Description: An antique metal windup alarm clock showing a civil war soldier leaving the woman in his life to go off to war. Inscription reads "My Time Is Up - Good Bye" and below that it reads "Good Bye -God Spare You". Also marked "Patended October 28, 1902." Made by the Western Clock Mfg. Co., La Salle, Ill., USA. Clock is working and appears to keep good time. Piece is sturdy with no breaks or repair, but there is much wear to the finish. Stands about 10" tall.
