Description: Antique solid metal ram figure with gold colored finish. It is heavy for it's size and it is signed "Mene." Pierre Jules Mene was born in 1810. He was the most successful and prolific Animalier sculptor of his time, and he is considered an equal to any in ability. His bronzes were cast with the highest quality, detail, and workmanship always setting new standards. This is an original, not a reproduction. Slight wear. Overall excellent condition.
